Dear Ms. Sikes,
I am reading the Mysterious Benedict Socity. So far in my book there are four children are gathered by Mr. Benedict to save the world. A so called Sender is sending out messages to make people to make them stop beveling in the truth. Mr. Benedict has an idea where the messages are coming from. He thinks they are coming from the institute. He sends the four children to the institute to solve the problem and save the world.
My favorite part is when Sticky teaches the rest of the kids mores code, and when he tells the kids about his past.
The only question right now is how will Reiny tell Ms. Permuel where he is and what he is doing without being discovered.
Dear Ms. Sikes,
In my book, SEA OF MONSTERS, by Rick Riorden. My favorite part was when they met up with the evil cyclops Polyphomis and they make him fall off of a cliff, but after they think they have killed him he comes out of the pit of the giant cliff and destroys their ship the Queen Anne's Revenge they get their water friend Rainbow to come and get then since Percy is the son of Posiden. A question for the book that I have is how did Posiden create horses and how does Percy talk to them through his mind.

Dear Ms. Sikes
The book that I am read is called the Amulet. I just finish book number 5#. My favorite part is the first part when Max (one of the bad guys) is having a hard time in his childhood. A really hard time. Max's friend is in danger, but he is not supposed to help her because she is an elf. Max gets in big trouble and almost dies. That my favorite part because it helps me understand the book more. One question I have is.... Why does Trells have to be so stubborn. Ps Trells is an elf.
I am reading "Dork Diarys" My favorite part is when Nicki talks about her having the best day ever. She talks all about hanging out with her friends and her date, Brandon. You can tell when she is happy and exited or when she's mad or when she's sad.
I want to know why Mackenzie wants Chole and Zoey in her dance for the talent show.
Dear Ms. Sikes,

(P.S. I just finished this book.)

I am reading abook called Dork Diaries Tales From a Not-so-Graceful Ice Skater. I am only on page 36, so I don't know a lot about the book. So far they are having a unit in gym class. The unit is ICE SKATING!!!! My favorite part is when MacKenzie tells Nikki she could use her XXXXL T-Shirt as a wedding dress. Nikki is like Okay little miss perfect. Nikki and MacKenzie are enimies. A question I have about the book is, Why are they having a unit in gym class on ice skating? I can't wait to read more and see what happens!
Dear Ms. Sikes,
I am reading Ninth Ward. So far Lanesha has survived the hurricane, but her friend TaShon can't find his parents and Lanesha's street is torn apart. Also, TaShon sees Lanesha's mom's ghost.
My favorite part is during the hurricane, when Lanesha is very strong and helpful even when she is scared too. She helps by getting Mama Ya-Ya, herself, and Spot into the tub for protection.
Dear Ms. Sikes,
I am reading Septimus Heap book 1: Magyk.
It is about a princess who's mom (the queen) got assassinated. Now she is ten years old and is having to run around the castle and the town because assassins and hunters are after her. My favorite part is when DomDaniel jumps of the wizard tower and Alther turns into the ExtraOrdinary Wizard. I'm wondering why this series is called Septimus Heap when Septimus Heap dies when he was just a day old.
Dear Mrs. Sikes,
My book, Anne of Green Gables, is about an orphan girl named Anne Shirley. My favorite part of Anne of Green Gables so far is when Anne defiantly states the extraordinary; she simply refuses to go to school just because the handsomest and smartest boy in the school teased her about her hair. Anne absolutely hates him, but Marrella and Mathew are starting to feel like her real family. I wonder if Marrella will ever show Anne how much she cares about her. Every time Marrella feels love welling up in her for Anne, she tries to brush it away. I wonder why she always does that.
Your student,
Neva
P.S.
I am only on page 177, and that is not really much for this book because Anne is everything but quiet and three fourths of this book’s pages are filled with Anne’s dialogue
Dear Ms. Sikes,
I am reading Catching Fire. So far Katniss and Peeta are in the victors hunger games. They are there because they won. They are trying to stay alive.
My favorite part so far is when they find something that they have never seen. Then they figure it out and they get what they have been waiting for...WATER.
I have one question. Why don't they tell them when someone passes away because they would think everyone is still alive.
I am reading Diving Off the Edge. So far in my book Riley is scared about jumping off a cliff into a lake. When he gets back to school he is doing a swimming unit, and the day that he goes back he does a few races and won the 200 meter race. Then he joins the swim team and competes in the 200 meter and 400 meter races. The only questions I have is He going to win the races, and will he jump off the cliff again? Also will he become best friends with Blake again?

Joelle’s favorite sport is baseball, and at her old school Joelle was allowed to play baseball. In fact once she made a homerun. My favorite part is at the beginning when Joelle was at her old school. One day when she was having a baseball game her coach put her on the batting plate. The ball came toward Joelle, and she hit the ball. It was a homerun! My only question is why would the principal not let Joelle play baseball?

The book I am reading right now is Chomp. It is about a boy named Wahoo whose family can not pay all their bills, so his mom goes to China to take a job there. While she`s in China, his dad, a wrangler gets a job from Expedition Survival that could pay all their bills. Derek Badger, the person in the show who may look tough on TV, is really dumb and fat. When he gets bit by a vampire bat and runs away in the middle of the Everglades thinking he is going to turn into a vampire. Wahoo, his dad, and their surprise visitor, Tuna, who was slugged by her drunk dad, are told to find Derek Badger.
My favorite part is when Raven asked Tuna,"What happened to your eye?"
"Fell down the stairs, what happened to your hair?"
I wonder if Wahoo`s family will end up with enough cash to pay all their bills?

I am reading The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. Just to tell you I am only five chapters into the book, so I will try to do my best. So far my favorite part is when a character from another book, by the same author shows up in the book to save the three main characters. By the way the character that showed up was Annabeth from the Percy Jackson books. One of the questions that I have for the book is, how did Jason get into the bus holding hands with Piper?
Dear Ms. Sikes,
The book I am reading is The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. In the beginning Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance are four children that take a couple of tests run by a man named Mr. Benedict. Those children pass because they are all very special. Sticky a.k.a George and Reynie are very smart. Kate is very resourceful and carries a bucket everywhere she goes. Constance is very creative. My favorite parts so far are when Milligan tells the children why he is so glum, and when Mr. Trenton lee Stewart describes the poem Constance makes up about three bossy gargoyles named Kateena, Renardo, and Georgette who eat cat food and pick their ears. I have only one question, when the children go on a special mission they meet a man called Mr. Curtain who has the exact same face as Mr. Benedict and the exact same green plaid suit as Mr.Benedict. The children get very confused. My question is the same as the children's. Is Mr.Benedict trying to trick them? My other thought was if Mr.Benedict has a twin and it is Mr.Curtain
Dear Ms.Sikes

In my book Fudge-a-Mainia, the Hatchers are in Maine, in the same house, with Peter's arch nimosis Sheela Tubmnan. The part I just got finished reading was they were on a sailboat and they got close to crashing in the FREEZING cold water. When Peter's dad fails to drive the boat, Peter's tough grandma takes the rains and sails them to safty. When it is time to tie up the boat Peter's grandma tell's his dad to jump on the dock and tie the boat to the dock but his dad ignore's Peter's grandma and jumps too soon... SPLASH! Peter's dad fell in the water and was about to catch hypothermia but grandma saves the day and as she likes to "All's well, End's well"

The poem, "If~" is about, a family that might be really poor, and the times might be really tough. So the dad is saying that everything is going to be okay. The poem, "Who has Seen the Wind" is about,a little girl and her friends trying to see the wind, but they can't. No one can see the wind because God made it that way. I choose "Who has Seen the Wind" because everyday when I am outside I can feel the wind but I can't see it. I try so hard to see it but i just can't. Then it hit me! God doesn't want anybody to see the wind but we know it is there!
