I like "The New Suit" because I think it has better word choices and I like how the writer wrote it.
I like "Do You Carrot All For Me?" because there is a lot of creativity! I didn't think the other poem had a good rhyme scheme
Dear Ms. Sikes,
I liked "Do You Carrot All For Me" better because of the unique words that he used. It was exciting to read. Not like some boring words that rhyme. I wish other poets did something like that too
I chose "The New Suit" because I like the way it describes his suit in the begining. I also liked how it says it is not going to do everything this year, but next year he is going to do everything. Also he is wearing new clothes this year and old clothes next year. I want "The New Suit to win.
"The New Suit" is about a guy who has to wear specific clothing and he has to not spill on anything to be cool.
"Do You Carrot All For Me" is a silly poem that uses vegetables.
My favorite is "The New Suit" because in the end it says that next year he isn't going to be cool, he is going to be himself.
Dear Ms. Sikes,
“Do you carrot all for me” means more to me because it is more my style. I have a connection to it and it’s that I sometimes sound like I say these terms. I like “Do you carrot all for me” because it is better written and better thought of and has better terms than the other one.

I chose "Do You Carrot All for Me?" because of the funny lyrics. For example, "My heart beets for you".Also, I chose it because the other poem, "The New Suit" was not very deep because all it talked about was a new suit that somebody got.
Dear Ms. Sikes, My favorite poem was "Do You Carrot All For Me"The reason I liked this poem was the funny play on words. This is one of the few poems that really made me laugh. I liked the way the that the author took simple words and he turned the words in to names of veggies.
Dear Ms. Sikes,
I like the poem the new. I like the new suit the best because I can relate to it because I HATE dressing up.
I like "The New Suit" because it is well written. I also like how it is orginised. One more thing i like how detailed it is.

"Do you carrot all for me?" because it's asking a person do they care for them. The personal connection to this poem is, I get most of the attention because I'm the youngest and when I get in trouble I feel like my parents don't love me,so I always ask myself do they love me? The poet's craft I like most in this poem is the word choice making food sound like words.
I choose "Do You Care at All For Me?"
I can make a connection to that story because I sometimes ask my brother that or my sister.
I choose that one because I think it is very important to care about others more than your self. It's like the the word JOY , it's Jesus, others ,then yourself.
1. I think "The New Suit" is about a boy who is going to a birthday party and wore his new suit and he he doesn't want to get a spill on it.
2. I think "Do you carrot all for me?" is about a person who really likes vegetables and so he is telling what his girlfriend looks like through vegetables.
3. I like "The New Suit" because I personally like to keep things clean and, it rhymes.
Dear Ms.Sikes,
The poem I picked was "The New Suit". I chose this poem because my brother is kind of like the person in the poem. The writers craft I like the most was the rhyme in it, and I liked how thge rhyme of the poem also flows with the rest of it.
"Do You Carrot All For Me?"means more to me because I've wondered who's cared for me.
I can connect with "The New Suit" because I've experienced when my brother got a tux for prom.
I like "The New Suit" Because it rhymes.
I like "The New Suit" because it has a man that is not happy with his decision. It shows that you don't always make the right decision. I can connect because I have made decisions that weren't the smartest and everyone else has too. I chose "The New Suit because I can connect to it and because I like the word choice.
1. I really think the poet in "Do You Carrot All For Me" has a very creative mind and likes having a good poem with good word choice.
2. I can relate to "The New Suit" when my mom makes me wear something nice and I get it al dirty.
3. I like "Do You Carrot All For Me" because of the rhyme scheme.
My favorite poem is "The New Suit" because I like how it gives you a message that you should never wear a suit to a party until you are an adult. It is also an interesting story about how a little boy just wants to wear old clothes to the party, I got lost in the story so it was an obvious like.
Dear Ms. Sikes,
I like "Do You Carrot All for Me at All?" better because it is a very clever use of words. I like how it replaces some of the words with plant names. The other one is a great poem, but I like this one better. I vote for "Do You Carrot for Me at All?" to move on in the tournament.
I like The " The New Suit"Because I always get my shirt dirty so I have to ware old clothes a when I am doing some thing messy. It also has lots of punctuation and flows. The meaning of the poem is important to me because I can sort of relate to it (like I said at the beginning).
Dear Ms. Sikes,
I choose "The New Suit" because I like how it says some "rules" about going to a party, that people tell them. I also like how the person doesn't like the recommendations because it is funny how it annoys them.
The poem, "The New Suit" is more relatable to me then the poem, "Do you Carrot All for Me?" The poem, "Do you Carrot All for Me" (in my opinion) is kind of cheesey. The poem, "The New Suit" is more jeneral and people can relate to it more. I liked how "The New Suit" described all the different things that he couldn't eat. I also liked how in the end it said, "Next time, I'll know to bring other older clothes, so I can eat all my favorite foods!" The poem, "Do you Carrot All for Me" I couldn't really understand that well and couldn't relate to it.
Ms.sikes,
My favorite poem after reading them twice is "The New Suit" the reason I choose this is because... I like that all the words go together and rhyme I can make a connection to when I get something new I say "don't touch."
Dear Ms.Sikes,
I choose "The New Suit" because I can relate to it more than "Do you Carrot all for me?"
I can relate to it because of how he has to be really careful so he doesn't spill anything on it, and it is so ANNOYING.
I also like how it uses a lot of adjectives to describe the suit
"Do you Carriot all for Me" is about someone describing somonr with friits and veggies. "The New Suit" is abou somone's new suit. The winner is "The New Suit" because I like suits.
Dear Ms. Sikes,
"The New Suit's" meaning is more important to me because once I had to wear a suit to a wedding and there was a lot of rules so I didn't get to have a huge piece of cake but if a had old clothes on I could of had a big piece of cake.
I can connect to The New Suit more because I wished once when I was wearing a suit at a wedding that I was wearing old clothes too. I like how the poet says dribble in sentence 21.
I like "Do You Carrot All for Me" because I really like play on words and its cool to know that you can use a whole garden as play on words. I like"The New Suit" because I don't really like things that it really matters if things get on it and I just plain don't like suits, They make you look handsome at church but I would not like to wear one out of church. I think that the winner is"The New Suit: because I don't like feeling all scrunched up.
They are both pretty good but if I had to pick one I would pick "Do You Carrot all for Me?" because it is a love poem, with plants.
Dear Ms. Sikes
I cose the poem "Life Dosent Frighten Me". I really like it because of the words and how they used them.
I liked “Do you carrot all for Me,” the winner, because of the exotically laced choice of words and rhyme. Today we planted giant sunflowers, (seriously tall; 7 to 12 feet!) And I was reminded of the time we posted blogs on “Do you carrot all for Me?” earlier in the year. The rhyme and chime of this poem catch the readers attention, staggeringly creative for a love poem.
