The first poem Who has seen the wind? Is about, wind in invisible and a poet is asking the reader who has seen the wind.
The second poem If is about believing in yourself when all other people are doubting you.
The poem I liked best was IF because I liked the different word chose in which the poet used to make it into kind of like a story. I also like that it had a lot of encouraging words.
The first poem,"Who Has Seen the Wind", is about trying to see the wind but, knowing you can only feel it.
The second poem,"If", is about tells some of the thing mentally you need to master before you become a man.
I choose,"Who Has Seen the Wind", because I would love to see the wind but can't and can only feel it.
the poem if, was about not being trusted by everybody you know, but being able to handle it all.
who has seen the wind was about not knowing where things are, but being able to feel them.
I choose if because I think it was better in general, and I thought it had more of a idea behind it.
If= If, is about a parent telling his or her son that if something bad happens in life never give up. It also means you have to look at the glass half full instead of the glass half empty.
Who has seen the wind= In Who has seen the wind, the poem is telling you you can't actually see the wind but you can see the trees move. So that is evidence that there is wind.
The poem I think is the best is Who has seen the wind because it is a beatiful poem. For example, It has = The title in every paragraph, it makes better sense, and it has discriptive language.
I think that the first poem Who Has Seen The Wind is about even though you can't see the wind you know it's still there and it's the same way with God because you know he's there if you're a Christian. As for the other poem If-- I think it's about If you can do all of these things in life, that boy could turn into a man! I think that the best poem was If because it was a lot more interesting than Who Has Seen The wind. It was a lot more unique than Who Has Seen the Wind because The Eagle reminded me of Who Has Seen The Wind.
If is about asking yourself “if “you can do it or you can be.
Who Has Seen the Wind is about the poet asking the reader if they have seen the wind.
I chose the poem If because of its word choice, line breaks, and punctuation. One the main reasons I like If is because the poet is saying “ If “ a lot and I think that is really interesting. Saying that a lot is different because not a lot of poets do that. A connection I have is in the 2nd paragraph; I agree on dreaming and not letting it take control of you.
If is about turning the other cheek and doing the right thing.
Who has seen the wind? is about a person asking if anyone has seen the wind
I vote for If because it has a deep meaning about turning the other cheek.
The poem If..., which I thought was kind of confusing, was about someone saying If you can follow certain things than one you will be a man, and my son.
The poem Who has Seen The Wind was about know one could see the wind but they could see the the leaves carry it away.
I thought that Who Has Seen The Wind was a better poem because I thought If... was confusing and didn't make much sense. Another reason is that I thought Who Has Seen The Wind had better descriptive language
From Jackson
Who has seen the wind is about the wind passing through and leaves you wondering if you have seen the wind.
If- is about a meaning that sounds like ["if you can walk, if you can see, if you can dance, and if you may teach."] Because it all starts with if and they all are questions. Some of them make a statement and have a true meaning to it.
The one I personally liked was If-. I voted for If- because it makes me think more and is the most interesting out of these two poems. That reason is because these questions and statements would be some that I would say or ask.
The first poem, Who Has Seen the Wind, is about a boy who hasn't seen the wind.
The second poem, If~, is about the ifs in life and everything that is in Earth.
I chose Who Has Seen the Wind because I like the line breaks and I also like the poets craft.
Who Has Seen The Wind did not describe very much and pretty boring.
If was like a true life lesson talking about good and bad things people do in life.
I pick If because it explained more and had more detail.
I read the poem Who has Seen the Wind first. After that, I read If. Who has Seen the Wind was about... who has seen the wind? If was about a dad teaching his son how to be a "man".
I liked the poem Who has Seen the Wind best because If was long and hard to understand. Who has Seen the Wind was simple and short. Also, I liked how the author in who has seen the wind said 'I or you', and then said "You or I'.
The first poem is, Who Has Seen the Wind?, it is about how you can't see the wind but you can see what it effects, and you can feel it.
The second poem, If-, is about this boy who doesn't let anyone, or anything bother him; so if he does this for the rest of his life he will become a true, kind man.
I chose the poem, If-, because it tells you that if you do these thing your life will turn out well, and it has very good "poet's craft" that helps you understand the poem. It also is one of the poems that you have to read a lot of times to really understand it.
The first poem, IF~, is about if you can do this or that in life.
The second poem, Who Has Seen the Wind,is about even though you can't see the wind, it doesn't mean it's not there.
The poem I chose was, Who Has Seen the Wind, because I liked the meaning and the word choice. I liked the meaning because I would have never thought of the wind that way, and I liked the word choice because it made the poem more easy to understand.
I also liked the visualizing and I had a personal connection. The vision in my head was not seeing but feeling it, and my personal connection was when I was little I thought there wasn't wind because I couldn't see it. A question I have is why did she write about that? :)
The meaning of Who Has Seen the Wind? is that even if you can’t see something it can effect you.
The meaning of If- is that if you do all these things you will be a perfect man with God.
My vote goes to If- because it has such a deep meaning. It shows how Jesus lived like a perfect man. The poet wrote it from God’s point of view.
I cose whos seen the wind because i thought it made more sence and it was the best one Iv'e read so far.
The first poem is talks about how no one can see the wind but you can see it in special ways like if leaves are flying around in the air.
The second poem I could not understand but By the words parts that I did understand I think it was talking about how if someone disagrees with you you need to stay true to your self
I vote for Who Has Seen The Wind because I understand it better and I like the part where it says" But when the trees bow down their heads, the wind is passing through." and I like the way they say it because it is more descriptive then the trees bend side to side.
I interpreted that the first poem is about the author telling us that no one has seen the wind.
I interpreted that the second poem If is about some one saying if you can be strong during hard times then you will do good.
My favorite poem is If because I love that the author is telling you that if you can be the stronger person then you will have people look up to you.
The first poem, If, is about weighing good and bad choices and choosing the wise one. It is also about seeing the good and bad in others and in life and being positive.
The second poem, Who has seen the wind?, is about trees rustling with wind whisting through them.
I chose Who has seen the win? to win this round.
"If" is about a father talking to his son about life. This poem reminds me of "Mother to Son". "Mother to Son" is about a mother talking to her son about life. "If" is about a father talking to his son. The father tells him that there are some good parts in life, bad parts in life, and there are some things you have to be careful in life. You don't find out that it is a father talking until the last sentence of the poem.
"Who Has Seen the Wind" is about that you can't see the wind. You can tell there is wind when the trees move. It also says that the leaves on the tree tremble. That is another way you can tell there is wind. When they say that the tree's heads go down it means that the wind is pushing down on them. I can visualize a fall day in this poem.
I choose "Who Has Seen the Wind". It is a peaceful poem like "The Eagle". "If" was pretty boring in my opinion. "Who Has Seen the Wind" was very good with rhyming. "If" had good rhymes, but the rhymes weren't as good because it was so long. The winner tonight is "Who Has Seen the Wind".
Who has seen the wind is mainly about how you can't see the wind but you know it's there.
If- is about if you can go through life and be strong and be kind and don't get down when people are aginst you and you will become a good man.
I like Who has seen the wind better becaus it rhyms and I like the measage that it give , Even if you can't see it you have to belive in it in different way.
-If is about when you are let down then pick yourself back up.
Who Has Seen the Wind is about the wind in the air and that no one has seen it.
I chose -If because I like how it is helping people understand if you are let down don't give up.
In the first poem, “If”, the author, Rudyard Kipling, is saying that if you follow all of his advice, “you’ll be a Man, my son.” By that, I think he is acting like god and if you follow me and do everything that I say you will be my son. So I think “his son” will be more privileged and get farther in life.
The second poem, Who Has Seen The Wind, is about the wind blowing, but you can’t see it, you can only see it through the trees and leaves.
Out of these too poems, I like “Who Has Seen The Wind.” I chose this because I like how it makes a statement, then makes a new line and adds on to the statement, I like the questioning, and I also like how it says “But the trees bow down their heads, The wind passes by. I like it better because it doesn’t just say, But the leaves fell of the trees and the branches went down. It is a combination of show not tell and descriptive language.
The reason why I didn’t choose “If” is because I was a little confusing. One way it was confusing is that it focused on so many things. Another reason why I didn’t choose “If” is because It was a little to commanding and I didn’t feel relaxed when I read it.
The first poem, If, is about a father giving his son advice on becoming a man.
The second poem, Who Has Seen The Wind is about the fact that you can't see the wind, but you can see what the wind causes.
I like, If, because he is giving his child advice about what are the right things to do in life.
The poem Who Has Seen the Wind, It is about have you seen the wind, on this one I had a connection that was a text-to-text in a book i read it said something like have you seen the wind. On the second poem If- I think it was someone talking to their son because at the end it say "you'll be a man my son". My favorite poem tonight was If- because it stood out to me more and was more meaning full than Who Has Seen the Wind to me.
Who Has Seen the Wind? is about if you can't see something, you can see other signs of it.If- is about what it you should do to be a good person. I like If- for this game because I like the rhyme and the line breaks. it all really fit together.
The first poem, If-, is about a parent telling his or her son to keep on going even if times get harder, and that if something gets tough to keep on moving no matter what gets in your way.
The second poem, Who has seen the Wind, is about something that is invisible but amazing at the same time. It is a really detailed poem about something that is not that important and the way that the author makes the poem seem really important is really interesting.
I think that Who has seen the Wind is better because, it is more discriptive and more detailed than the other poem, and it also means a little more than someone telling their child to be strong through what ever comes his way. And actually If- is a lot like the poem Mother to Son. But I think Who has seen the wind is better.
The first poem I read was Who Has Seen The Wind. It was about the wind changing nature and that the only way you can see the wind is by the leaves blowing.
The second poem was called If. It was a hard one to understand, but I thought it was about people being the same person no matter what they experience in their lives. And to not care about what people think about you.
My favorite poem was If because it kind of reminds me of Jesus. It reminds me of Jesus because he didn't care about what people thought. He just kept being nice and teaching everybody about God.
The first poem I read was Who has Seen the Wind. It's about wind and how you can't see it, but you can tell where it is when see a tree's leaves shake.
The second poem I read was If. The whole meaning to the poem is, If you could do all of the things it says you would have the key to life.
I vote for If because it has good advice and you had to infer to get what it said in the poem.
Who Has Seen the Wind is a story about how some of the most powerful forces in the world, such as the wind, cannot not be seen but can be felt.
If- is a poem of a father teaching the important virtues needed to truly become a man.
I decided to vote for If- because it has some very important advice for a boy growing up. The father talks about trust, patience, dreams, triumphs, disaster, determination, and virtue. It is also one of my mom's favorite poems. She even knows it by heart!
