Dear Ms. Sikes,
I think "If" is about how to stay strong even when others hurt you, and to never give up even if it feels hopeless.
I think "Who Has Seen The Wind" is about no one is able to see the wind, but you can feel its presence. I think it is sort of talking about God.
My favorite poem was "If" because it makes me feel that even though I'm going through a tough time to be strong, and to never give up.

"If-" is about being a man and what you have to do to be one. I think this story is a good example for boys that are growing to be a man. "Who has seen the wind" is about us never seeing the wind but you can tell when it's there.
The winner is "Who Has Seen the Wind" because I always wonder why we can't see the wind.

1."If~" is about if you can do these things you will become yourself, your true identity.
2."Who Has Seen the Wind" I think the trees are the people and God is the wind, so when he walks by we bow are heads down to him.
3. "Who Has See the Wind" is my favorite because it doesn't talk about God, you have to infer it. And I like those kind of poems a whole lot.

Dear Ms.Sikes,

1. "Who has seen the wind" is about someone who hasn't seen the wind and telling people that you can't see it but you can feel it.
2. "If" is about telling people that If you do that you can do this. And one of them is, If you can keep your head when all about you, Are losing theirs and blaming it on you.
3.I chose "Who has seen the wind" because I like how the writer repeats 2 sentences in the poem and also I like how he says you can't see it but you can feel it.

2. "Who Has Seen the Wind?" is about people can't see the wind because it is invisable.

3. I chose "Who Has Seen the Wind?" because I liked how it repeated "Who has seen the wind?"
"Neither I nor you:."

1."If-" is saying how if you are patient you can be all the the other things. It`s kind of like the thing they say at flag, except the opposite.
2."Who Has Seen the Wind" is about how you can feel or hear something, but can not see it.
3. I like "If-" because I think it`s cool how the poet is telling you you can do a lot of good things just by being patient.

"If~" is about a dad talking to his son about if you could do this and that, you'll be a true man. Even though, unlike most poems, it doesn't rhyme as much, it is very good.

"Who Has Seen the Wind?" is about nobody seeing the wind. I almost think it is about not lying.

My favorite is "If~" because it is telling you all these good traits. It makes me want to have those traits and be a better person.

3. My favorite is "If-" because it sets a good example to me.

1. "If~" is about if you can do something, if you can achieve that goal, then you will be successful. It is also about being good to others and being nice to them.
2. "Who Has Seen the Wind" is about how you can't see the wind, but you can feel and see it in the things.
3. I chose "Who has Seen the Wind" because it's about how you can feel and see the wind in things, but you can't actually see it.

Dear Ms. Sikes,
1. “If” is all about life and how sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is very hard.
2. “Who Has Seen the Wind?” is all about how you have never seen the wind but you have felt the wind and you have heard the wind.
3. I like “if” more because it has more meaning to me and relates to me more, and it is longer so I got to read more of it.

1. "If~" is about a parent that is explaining to their son that life is not always the best, but he has good people to comfort him.

2. "Who Has Seen the Wind?" is about someone who wants to know if anyone has seen the wind, though he/she has heard it passing by.

3. I choose "Who Has Seen the Wind?" because I like the word choice. For example, it said "nor" and I like that because it flows well.

Dear Ms. Sikes, the poem "If" is mostly about someone who might be thinking to much. That might have had something bad happen and they are thinking aloud!

"Who has sean the wind" is about you cant see the wind if a object can move in the wind like a leaf or somthing else.

I like "who has seen the wind" because it is short and it rhymes so well and i didn't really understand "IF".

"Who Has Seen the Wind?" means wind is invisible but we can see it's effects.

"If" means having good character isn't easy.

My favorite poem is "If" because it teaches a VERY good life lesson

The meaning of "If-" is that you should treat every one the way you want to be treated and don't be one of those people that no one likes and has no friends.
The meaning of "Who Has Seen the Wind" is that you can't see the wind but you can feel and see the things that are being touched by it.
I think that"Who Has Seen the Wind" because it made more since than "If-" and I like where it chose to break off.

“If~” starts with the words, “If you can keep you head” and continues in that fashion; If, if…“if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you” and ends with congratulating the reader on their prospering virtues.

“Who has seen the Wind” is a poem that captures the extraordinary, almost parapsychological nature that surrounds us, giving us a feeling of wonder at the great beauty of Mother Nature.

“Who has seen the Wind” has always been one of my favorite poems (other than “The Swing”—my favorite) because it, like I said earlier, has always struck me as parapsychological, or magical, in multiple ways. First off, you begin to see in a new light; a light of knowledge, truth, and, silly as it may sound, joy for the wonderful and consternations within our grasp.

Dear Ms. Sikes,
"If~" is mostly about if nothing is going great in life but you keep going, and keep your head up it will make you a better person.
"Who Has Seen the Wind?" is about how no one can see the wind, you only know it is passing by because of the trees and branches that are rumbling.
I like "If~" because I think many people can connect with it because no one has ever had a "perfect" kind of day, and if you're not, you have to stay strong and not let it affect you or anyone else.

The poem “If” is about how perseverance, honesty, and humbleness can help you be respected. The poem “Who Has Seen the Wind?” is about not being able to see things, but knowing that they’re there from how they make a difference. I liked the poem “If” because of its theme, moral, and wording. My dad tells me to do the same things that are in this poem and I can relate to some of those things. I agree that living your life like that does make you a better person.

Dear Ms. Sikes,
I think the meaning of "If~" is that you have to have a good character and then you will be a true man.
I think "Who Has Seen the Wind" is trying to say that the wind is beautiful even though we can't see it, but we can feel it.
I like "If~" better because I like the message of the poem. I also like how it says if all the time, referring to the title.

I think number 1 won.

I think the first poem is about believing in your self so that you will have a good character and be a great person. The second one is about how you can never see the wind.
I like the first one because I always try to believe in my self.
